If there be any PRAISE

The Greek word translated as praise or praiseworthy in this verse is EPAINOS. It is pronounced ep-ahee-NOSS. Strong’s G1868 has the biblical usage of commendation, praise, approval.

Praise is both a verb and a noun. The contemporary definitions and synonyms are:

verb definition: the expression of approval or admiration for someone or something.

Praise Him All The Time

Praising Yehovah is something you can and should do all the time. When you feel like it and when you don’t. When you pray, do you usually start with your petition or do you start with thanksgiving and praise?

Do you thank him and praise him for those people in your life? Brother Paul did, “I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus.” 1 Corinthians 1:4 (KJV)

Praise is something we can do always, continually, as a sacrifice. Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Psalm 150:6 (KJV) Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Psalm 100:4 (NKJV) Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

Acts 2:46-47 ( KJV) And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Hebrews 13:15 (KJV) – By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I thank You for this day and I praise You for Your mercy, Your kindness, your longsuffering, and your grace. I praise your holy name, Yehovah. I thank You for Your Son Yeshua (Jesus) and his sacrifice so I can call you my God. Help me to remember to always be humble and thankful for the grace you have given me.
