VOW: He is Risen!

Verse of the Week:

He is not here; He is risen, as He said.
Matthew 28:6a NKJV

For all believers in Yeshua/Jesus, today marks the day of His resurrection from the dead. The day He took the keys to death and the grave. He became the first fruits of those that have died.

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.
1 Cor 15:20 CSB

This gives us great hope, that we will be physically resurrected when He comes again and we are changed instantly as we meet Him in the air. Our blessed hope of His return.

f then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

Live it out this week

Yeshua (Yehovah saves) died to save us from a life of bondage to sin and from having to pay the penalty of death ourselves. He rose from the dead, conquering death for all who trust, believe, and follow Him. Let His love for you and others be seen by those around you.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Son who paid my penalty. Help me to live my life as a reflection of that knowledge and share Your great love with others.
