Marking Milestones

Just a quick post to mark something momentous that happened today, September 8, 2021.

Let me preface this by pointing out that this event went completely unnoticed by everyone in the world except for two people—Lisa (my sister) and Gina (me). But it is cause for celebration to us, hence, this post.

Drum roll, please…..

As of today, OnScripture now has FIFTY followers!! That’s FIVE OH!

(Cue the fireworks)

OH, OH, OH! How happy are we? Obviously, way too happy! (I think I can hear some laughter in the background!)

We realize that this is inconsequential in the scheme of things, but after just a bit over one year on WordPress, we feel like this is a milestone worthy of acknowledgement. So we wanted to take a moment to say a very heartfelt thank you to each and every follower. We hope you will stick around for a long time. We feel so blessed to have you along on this journey into the Scriptures and we hope you are encouraged and challenged by our posts.

We give thanks to God always for all of you, making mention of you in our prayers
1 Thessalonians 1:2 NASB95

Most importantly, we are thankful to Yehovah for putting it in our hearts to start this blog, and for allowing it to go literally (and mind-blowingly—probably not a word, but it works, no?) into all the world. We pray that God will continue to take it to all the people and places that can be blessed by it.

“Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Ephesians 5:20 NKJV

Thank you for spending time with us. We love you.

Gina and Lisa

P.S. A very special “Thank you!” goes to Mitch Teemley (mitchteemley.com) who, to our surprise and delight, reblogged a post today which resulted in new followers and helped us achieve this marvelous milestone! Please check out his blog. He’s got some amazing stuff and you are sure to find many things that you will love about him—his insights, his way with words, world travels, adventures, his memoir, and much more.
